By accessing this website or booking any service with Sajid Driving School Pty Ltd (ABN : 90 667 649 247) (“we”, “our”, “us”), you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1. Bookings and Payments
- All lessons must be paid in advance.
- Bookings are only confirmed once payment has been received.
- Lesson availability is subject to instructor availability.
- Weekend and after-school bookings should be made early.
2. Rescheduling Lessons
- Lessons may be rescheduled once only.
- Rescheduling must be requested at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson (weekdays)
- Lessons rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur the full lesson fee(weekdays)
- weekends booking must be rescheduled or cancelled before 48hrs.
3. Cancellations
Driving Lessons (weekdays)
- Less than 24 hours’ notice: full lesson fee payable.
- Failure to attend is treated as a cancellation.
- Weekends booking less than 48hours notice : full lesson fee payable.
Driving Tests
- Less than three business days’ notice: full driving test package fee payable.
Cancellation fees apply equally to individual lessons and prepaid lesson packages.
4. Lesson Packages and Expiry
Lesson packages expire after the following periods:
- 1–3 lessons: 3 weeks
- 4–5 lessons: 5 weeks
- 6–10 lessons: 6 weeks
- 11–20 lessons: 10 weeks
Unused lessons after expiry may be forfeited unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5. Instructor Assignment
Sajid Driving School may allocate any qualified licensed instructor to conduct your lesson.
All instructors hold:
- A current Driving Instructor Licence
- A valid Working With Children Check (WWCC), where required
Instructor changes may occur due to availability, illness, emergencies or vehicle maintenance.
6. Learner Licence Requirements
Students must present their original valid learner or driver licence before every lesson.
Failure to produce a valid licence may result in cancellation without refund.
7. Physical Guidance During Lessons
For safety reasons, instructors may occasionally provide limited physical assistance such as briefly guiding the student’s hands, arms or shoulders when necessary to avoid danger or assist vehicle control.
Such contact will always be:
- Professional
- Respectful
- Limited to safety purposes only
Students who prefer alternative instruction methods should advise the instructor before the lesson begins.
8. Dash Cameras
Instructor vehicles may be fitted with dash cameras for safety, security, insurance and quality assurance purposes.
9. Instructor Vehicle Hire for Driving Tests
Where an instructor vehicle is hired for a driving test, the learner accepts responsibility for:
- Damage caused while under their control
- Insurance excess up to $1,400 where applicable
- Towing costs
- Traffic or parking fines
- Theft or loss where legally responsible
Repair costs exceeding the insurance excess remain the responsibility of the learner where permitted by law.
10. Vouchers
- Non-refundable
- Not redeemable for cash
- Transferable between clients
- Valid for 12 months from purchase
Special prices, packages and promotional offers:
- Apply only during advertised periods.
- May be limited to selected service areas.
- May apply only to weekday daytime bookings.
- May be withdrawn or changed without notice.
12. Website Use
Users must not:
- Submit false information.
- Attempt unauthorised access.
- Introduce malicious software.
- Copy or reproduce website content without written permission.
- Use the website for unlawful purposes.
13. Suspension or Termination
Sajid Driving School reserves the right to suspend or terminate bookings or accounts where users:
- Breach these Terms;
- Engage in abusive, threatening or inappropriate behaviour; or
- Misuse the website or services.
14. Changes to Services
We may change lesson prices, instructors, vehicles, schedules or services at any time.
Where possible, reasonable notice will be provided.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Sajid Driving School is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our website or services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
